Resource Development

This comprise structured learning sessions for the professionals (such as teacher’s training) working in the field of biomedical research to enhance their skill in conducting and reporting research. These capacity building programs will be organized at institutional level as per their requirement and for individuals involved in research such as PhD students, research officers, research scholars, CRO professionals, and young scientists.

The programs will be of two kinds

  • Sponsored by the institutions as per their requirement (teacher’s training) and
  • Second self sustainable (participants’ registration fee) program.

The programs will be designed with the intension to enable participants to acquire the requisite skills and experience to position themselves as independent investigator and help improve the quality of research.

After the training, the participants are expected to acquire the following:

  • Critical thinking ability to form a research question
  • Quantitative (and Qualitative) thinking
  • Understanding on study designs, clinical epidemiology, risk factors, and social determination of health
  • Knowledge on ethical and regulatory issues of conducting clinical research involving human subjects, including Good Biostatistical Practices and Good Data-management Practices.
  • Expertise in data analysis in health research
  • Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary research team
  • Competency in protocol development and grant writing
  • Skill of managing innovations and project management
  • Excellency in communication and dissemination of study results
