Prof. Y. K. Gupta is the President, AIIMS Bhopal and AIIMS Jammu. He is the
Principal Adviser Indian Strategy Development – Global Antibiotics Research and Development Partnership (GARDP) and Chairman, Board of Directors, Bharat Immunologicals and Biologicals Corporation Limited of the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India.
He is the Former Director CSIR- IITR, Lucknow, and Founder President, Indian Society of Nanomedicine, and Former President, Indian Pharmacological Society. He is a member of the Editorial Board of several journals. He is deeply interested in improving the quality of medical research.
