Prof. Umesh Kapil
Prof. Umesh Kapil wears several colourful hats. He is the President of the Epidemiological Foundation of India and the General Secretary of the National Academy of the Medical Sciences. Presently working as Professor, Clinical Epidemiology at Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi. Prof. Kapil has been recipient of three National Awards from the Indian Council of Medical Research. He has implemented more than 50 research projects funded by national and UN organizations.
